R&J Custom Exhaust

Robert was a pillar of his community, serving as a master welder during the construction of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant. He would go on to found R&J in 1985, he dedicated himself to the business, tirelessly working to establish its reputation. Throughout the years he generously shared his extensive knowledge of welding with numerous young apprentices, instilling in them the same passion for the craft he embodied. His incredible work ethic and deep love for welding and exhaust systems laid the foundation for what R&J is today.

Following his tragic passing in 2017, R&J has continued to operate in his honor, striving to keep his legacy alive while upholding the standards of excellence he established; ensuring that our work resonates with the same passion and dedication that defined Robert’s life, forever installing loud pipes to drown out the deafening silence left by his absence.
